Plot
The conclusion to director Feng Xiaoning's War and Peace trilogy opens during the final days of World War II.
Under harsh winter conditions in a remote forest, the Soviet Army launches an attack against Japanese forces in China.
When the smoke of battle clears, a female Russian soldier, a Chinese farmer and a Japanese schoolgirl have survived.
